Formerly known as Diversified Large Cap Value, the investment objective of the Large Cap Value strategy is current income and capital appreciation. This strategy normally invests its assets in large capitalization U.S. companies whose stocks we consider to be undervalued. We consider large cap companies to be those with market capitalizations at the time of purchase in the range of those found in the Bloomberg US 1000 Value Index, although portfolios invested in this strategy will generally consist of stocks with a market capitalization of $5 billion or above at time of initial purchase.
The Large Cap Value strategy normally invests in stocks with high cash dividends or payout yields relative to the market. However, it may also invest in stocks that do not pay dividends, have growth potential unrecognized by the market or have undergone changes in business or management that indicate growth potential.
